The park is ideally located on the shore of the Murray River and Horseshoe Lagoon at Moama.
The park is ideally located on the shore of the Murray River and Horseshoe Lagoon at Moama. The park has the potential to become a hub for nature and water-based tourism, while being easy walking distance to the Moama Markets and main street.
The brief for Moama Riverside Caravan Park was aimed at improving the overall experience for visitors. During the 2022-23 Murray River flood event a third of the cabins went under water. Our design was a response to the flooding issues, designing a more efficient site layout and improvements to aging infrastructure.
Proposed upgrades include new cabins with raised floor levels and new amenities including BBQ / picnic areas, shelters, a new office and children’s playground.
