The scope of design works included:
- re-sizing and re-orientating the football / cricket oval including associated structures (coaching boxes, player interchange benches and scoreboard)
- alignment of the cricket wicket table
- re-configuring the shared netball and tennis courts including spectator viewing areas
- review of pedestrian and vehicle access and carparking within the reserve
- retention of significant remnant Eucalypts
Extensive consultation was undertaken with City of Greater Bendigo officers, key stakeholders and community representatives during the preparation of the master plan.
