The client brief for Central Park was to create a point of difference from other developments in the area. This has been achieved in the design of the playgrounds, which feature a tower over 6m high and a range of climbing, sliding and swinging activities. The height and bulk of the tower has a strong presence in the landscape and can be seen in the distance when approaching the park. Both the tower and mound overlook the park and surrounding development providing striking views to Mt Warrenheip and Mt Buninyong.
